Régua, compasso e pontos notáveis de um triângulo

Abstract

The Technology advances has generated several resources that are helping the teaching of various topics in elementary Mathematics, especially those involving geometry in the plane, such as GeoGebra, WinPlot, Graph, among others. However, many teachers prefer the old fashion way of transmitting knowledge, which is, follow the chronology proposed in the textbook. Such procedure makes the classes very straight and without creativity, which dificult the assimilation of the subject. The aim of this work is to present an alternative propose to develop the students criativite by using geometric constructions with ruler and compass, in particular in the study of the main notable points of a triangle (circumcenter, incenter, barycenter and orthocenter) and some other constructions. Various properties of the figures and objects can be explored in this approach and can be practised in some problems, allowing the student to build their own knowledge in a criative and consistent way.
