Roomie: uma aplicação para prédios inteligentes baseada na infraestrutura de internet das coisas

Abstract

With the technological advances of the recent years and the popularization of the Internet of Things (IoT), nowadays, is possible to develop new applications that solve old problems of our daily life, that previously did not have a viable solution. One of the areas being explored in this new context are the speci c applications for smart buildings. Within the problems of building management, one of the most recurrent problems is the misuse of spaces, especially of meeting rooms. However, traditional softwares used for room reser- vations can not solve all the problems related to the management of these spaces, mainly because they do not adapt to the environment in which they are inserted and to the behavior of the users in real time. This work has as main objective to describe the de- velopment of a system focused on management of intelligent spaces. The application uses the IoT infrastructure for the incorporation of sensor data and for the communication between the applications that compose the system. From the information collected and the communication between the applications the system can make intelligent decisions about the spaces.
