Drenagem compensatória e sua aplicação em uma área da UFRN

Abstract

This project presentes one idea of susteinable drainage, compensatory dreinage, that is different from the tradicional concept of drainage. It proposes the application of these ideas on a specific área of the UFRN campus and shows the possible impact on a flood point existent. The main methods of compensatory drainage are presented and exemples are shown. Advantages and desadvantages are too shown. Areas that might be used for the application of compensatory drainage are pin pointed and the method of drainage is proposed. It is possible to conclude at the and that this methods, in the case of intese rain, present a important impact on the amount of water that would reache the flood point.
