A História de Piabinha is a nonfictional graphic narrative adapted from the cordel of the same name by the poet and cordelist Gilberto Cardoso (2019), which narrates the admirable deeds of a female dog, remarkable in the imaginary of a community in the countryside of Rio Grande do Norte, northeastern Brazil. In this work, I register and reflect about the process of creation of this webcomic, as are popularly called the comic strips conveyed online, presented in the continuous strip format; having in mind the notions of spatio-topia and artrology developed by Thierry Groensteen (2015), the “infinite canvas” proposal by Scott McCloud (2006) and the concept of creation in networks by Cecília Almeida Salles (2008).
