Resumen
The present paper is a master's dissertation which intends to present content and
methodological possibilities for the training of horn players in higher education from
reflections about current music instruction demands. The data was collected through
semiestructured interviews and analysis of course plans and political-pedagogical projects
from four Brazilian public universities. They were analysed under the perspective of
theoretical reference (BARTZ, 2018; BELTRAMI, 2011; BOMFIM, 2017; BRITO, 2019;
COUTINHO; 2014; FEITOSA, 2013; 2016; HARVEY, 2008; LIMA, 2018; MENGER, 2005;
OLIVEIRA E PICCININI, 2011; PICHONERI, 2006; REQUIÃO, 2008; SEGNINI, 2011). At
last, possible approaches were presented in order to construct a diversified practice which
includes versatile possibilities to horn players' actuation in regards to the XXI century.
