CONCEPÇÃO DE UM SISTEMA MECÂNICO PARA REMOÇÃO DA CASCA DE MANDIOCA

Abstract

The main objective of this work is to develop and create a mechanical system for removal of manioc bark. Initially an introduction is made on the history of manioc, characteristics and products derived from manioc. It is also addressed the flour houses, their history, how is the operatio and the processing and improvements of manioc to the final product (manioc flour in this case). Subsequently is described about all stages of flour production, in a flour house and the methods and machines used in the process. Therefore, it was analyzed the functioning of a flour house, and it was detected that one of the biggest problems faced by the flour houses in general, is the manioc debarking process. Due to this problem, it was suggested and developed a project to conception a mechanical system for removal of the manioc bark. The mechanical system was developed and designed in 3D in the SolidWorks 2017, finally, the conception of the system was carried out and designed in the software used, simulating its functioning.
