Dinâmica Espacial do município de Natal/RN: análise do setor imobiliário no período 2007-2013

Abstract

The present study analyzes the real estate dynamics in the city from Natal, with the overall objective to map the spatial distribution of its expansive cycle in construction, in the period from July 2007 to November 2013, in order to establish a relationship between the growth rate of construction permits and occupancy permit in neighborhoods with high purchasing power and peripheral of the principal city. For this, it was made a historical survey of the period mentioned the amount of documents issued from data obtained from the Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente e Urbanismo (SEMURB), giving importance to some neighborhoods for its historical and cultural relevance, and others, by their high growth rates in construction. Based on this study, it was concluded that there was a predominance of issuing documents in the South Side neighborhoods, confirming their stay in the sector of investment, and, furthermore, a distribution of property investments for the suburbs, due, mainly, to funds coming from social programs of the Government.
