dc.description.abstractThis work aims to develop a strategic planning proposal based on the Balanced Scorecard to improve the internal processes of Restaurante Oriente in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic, which brought losses to the economy and the restaurant, but also brought opportunities that can be well taken advantage of using strategic planning. This is a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, subtype case study. The study had the following steps: carrying out a situational diagnosis using SWOT analysis to allow the development of strategies appropriate to the current scenario and the objectives of the organization it was identified that the company is in the development scenario, with predominance in opportunities and strengths allowing strategies to increase productive capacity; development of the organizational identity of the company defining the business, mission, vision and values of the organization, so that it would be possible to effect the strategic map and the plan of goals; as a tool for monitoring and evaluation it was proposed a cycle of evaluation of expected results and results achieved. Finally, it is expected that the company will be able to follow the proposed strategic planning, achieving results and prospering with the benefits provided by this work.
