Resumen
In the project called "Leitura + Neurociências" (L+N) , a didactic portfolio was developed based
on the children’s book "Gato que pulava em sapato" (ALMEIDA, 2008). The didactic portfolio
consists of a methodology created by L+N to be worked on in the initial stages of children’s
literacy, having as theoretical support the cognitive neurosciences of reading associated with
education and psycholinguistics. Due to the fact that the work is developed primarily with
children from public schools and due to the high financial cost of implementing the printed
material for each student, the same analog portfolio was developed in the form of a virtual
tool. This tool was applied to a group of samples and after its use, a questionnaire was applied
containing questions about the users’ opinion about the analog portfolio (original material on
paper) and the digital portfolio (virtual tool). Based on the results it was possible to conclude
that the virtual tool has several positive points, but it still needs improvements to reach the same
level as the analog portfolio.
