Resumen
This research focuses on the implementation of the principle of the integral protection
of children and adolescents to combat child labor in the countryside, through the
mediation of PRONERA. The main objective of the study is to analyze how the
PRONERA can be a protagonist in the fight against child labor in rural areas,
observing the constitutional principles and importance of the social value of work in
the formation of peasant culture. The specific objectives were to identify the historical
process of construction of the principle of integral protection and legal-political
systems for the promotion of the rights of children and adolescents; analyzing child
labor in the countryside with an emphasis on pedagogical initiatives; to carry out an
elucidative approach to concepts related to work in rural areas and, at the end, to
propose a reflection on means of achieving the principle of integral protection in the
sphere of labor relations in rural areas through the mediation of education promoted
by PRONERA. The method used was deductive and the research was qualitative,
documental and bibliographical, with the purpose of consulting, respectively, the
applicable legal and principles, as well as the position of scientists and jurists who
write on the subject. The idea reached was that it is possible, based on intervention
actions in the political-pedagogical field, to make PRONERA an important actor in
facilitating the involvement of the peasant community with the problem of child labor,
including establishing thetizations about the human rights education and agroecology
as reference points for advancing the integral protection of children and adolescents.
Such an approach between an ecology of knowledge and the realization of the
fundamental rights of the human person, especially of children and adolescents,
opens space for an emancipatory education, based on responsibility and a pedagogy
focused on care, for a holistic, integrating and to agroecology.
