| dc.description | This study addresses the political experiences of Kaingang women from the Toldo Chimbangue Indigenous Land in the municipality of Chapecó-SC. The main objective is to highlight the female protagonism in this indigenous land, through the life and struggle trajectory of three Kaingang women, who in different moments assumed / assume leadership position in the Kaingang community, and which support the argument of the existence of a female protagonism. Toldo Chimbangue Indigenous Land has presented itself as a breeding ground for the analysis of indigenous autonomy processes, disputes, exchanges and negotiations between Kaingang Indians and the descendant Euro farmers who promoted the colonization of the site. Methodologically, the research starts from a critical bibliographical review of local historiography, and uses Oral History (interviews) as the main historical source, in an attempt to materialize Kaingang women's perceptions of their historical experiences. | en-US |
| dc.description | O presente estudo aborda as experiências políticas de mulheres Kaingang da Terra Indígena Toldo Chimbangue no município de Chapecó- SC. Assim, o objetivo principal é evidenciar o protagonismo feminino na referida terra indígena, através da trajetória de vida e de luta de três mulheres Kaingang, que em momentos distintos assumiram/assumem posição de liderança na comunidade Kaingang, e que respaldam o argumento da existência de um protagonismo feminino. A Terra Indígena Toldo Chimbangue se apresentou como um terreno fértil para a análise de processos de autonomia indígena, de disputas, trocas e negociações entre indígenas Kaingang e os agricultores euro descendentes que promoveram a colonização do local. Metodologicamente a pesquisa parte de revisão bibliográfica crítica da historiografia local, e recorre à História Oral (entrevistas) como principal fonte histórica, na tentativa de materializar as percepções das mulheres Kaingang, quanto às suas experiências históricas. | pt-BR |
