The paper is a analysis on the work done together with students from the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts at the Federal University of Rio Janeiro and from the Escola do Olhar, at the Museu de Arte do Rio, based on a course taught by me at the Museum. The work is the result of an investigation into the Museu das Remoções, a space for reframing and fighting for the memory of the Vila Autódromo community, which underwent a violent removal process aimed at the Olympic Games. When we came into contact with images, documents, objects, narratives and, above all, with the residents of the place, we created with the participation of the resident Nathália Macena, a student of the course, a performance approching the urban space to the museum. The methodology in the classroom aimed to integrate urban spaces of exclusion and museological space, rescuing the narratives of invisible communities. The paper was presented in lecture format at the Musée Guimet, in Paris, at the International Colloquium “L’intime à l’œuvre: surexposition(s)? O trabalho é fruto da investigação sobre o Museu das Remoções, espaço de ressignificação e luta pela memória da comunidade da Vila Autódromo, que sofreu um processo de remoção violento visando aos Jogos Olímpicos. Ao entrarmos em contato com imagens, documentos, objetos, narrativas e, sobretudo, com os moradores do local, criamos com a participação da moradora Natália, aluna do curso, uma performance aproximando o espaço urbano e o museológico. Palavras-chavePerformance.
