The practice of strength training to pregnant in gyms have been used , but there is a lot of doubts about the appropriate techniques like frequency, volume and intensity. The physiological, structural and phisiological variations should be taken more attention when you train a pregnant women.The purpose of this work is a scientific paper revision about strength training to pregnant women. Some studies get a series of 12 repetitions to prescribe a strength training of exercise to many muscles groups with pregnant women but, there is no reference about charge training utilized on both studies. Another study suggest a training made on 3 time per week with intensity of exercises over 75% from maximums strength, follow in 3 series from six to 10 repetitions. These recommendations are very superficial and there is no scientific fundamentation. According to AmericanCollege of Obstetricians and Gynecologists information about training prescription on pregnant are very insufficient. Will be necessary more studies about strength training prescriptions to withdraw conclusion evolving pregnancies.
