Evolução do grau de inovação do comércio varejista de materiais de construção de Belo Horizonte: uma análise a partir da aplicação do modelo radar da inovação

This paper aims to analyze and present the evolution of Innovation Levels in construction materials retail business of Belo Horizonte / MG starting with the application of diagnostic model "Innovation Radar" adapted from Sawhney, Wolcott and Arroniz by Bachmann and Destefani in request of the Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Business. The Innovation Radar tool is a qualitative and quantitative methodology, descriptive and applied. The first data collection took place in 35 of these shops from May 2013 to April 2014, the second collection in these 35 trades took place from May 2014 to February 2015. A search in books, web sites, articles, newspapers and magazines were required to conceiving the theoretical conceptualization of this monograph. The calculated results show that there was an increase of 10% of the Global Innovation Degree from the first measurement and that there was an increase in the degree of innovation in all dimensions, however, it can be inferred that the management of innovation is not yet structured in the management of the companies surveyed.
