The Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards currently develops, directed by Mario Biagini, a work directed to community groups that engage in collective practices of various kinds, and with which the group performs work centered on "chants." The Open Program project has been carried out mainly in Italy (Pontedera), in the United States (in communities of New York neighborhoods) and began to be held in Brazil (in 2015 in some cities of the State of Sao Paulo). In which direction the Workcenter research has advanced in recent years? The work seems to emerge from a fluid space of daily encounter. A place of effective interaction in which the shared performance practice (singing and choir) is installed, as emerging from the subtle transformation of everyday relationships and offering as part of that meeting. How could we reflect on the relational dimension established by this practice, at the time of sharing, and on its transforming power? It's like transforming action that it projects. Transformation from the perspective of a "new ecology" (expression used in Paratheatre). Work on this subtle field operates in the performer and open to a new relationship with themselves, with others and with the environment.
