Resumen
Parasitic diseases are related to the socioeconomic, environmental and cultural conditions of a population. They are responsible for the reduction of the quality of life, debilitation of the organism and can indicate the sanitary conditions and the level of knowledge of the affected population. After a situational diagnosis by ESF Fazendinha, the high incidence of intestinal parasitic diseases was prioritized as a research problem. The low level of knowledge on this subject, mode of transmission, complications, lack of perception of risk, inadequate lifestyle besides the deficient follow - up by the health team of this disease, favored its high incidence in the Fazendinha area of comprehension. These have affected the general population, mostly children between five and 14 years of age and are one of the most frequent reasons for consultation in the PSF Fazendinha. The present work has the objective of elaborating a project of intervention to reduce the incidence of the parasitic diseases in the territory of the Basic Health Unit Fazendinha. For the preparation of the action plan, the Strategic Situational Planning method was used. We have reviewed the literature on the subject in the UFMG Virtual Library, Scientific Electronic Library Online, in the Brazil Portal and articles and publications of the Brazilian Ministry of Health. With the implementation of the intervention plan, it is expected to decrease the incidence of parasitic diseases after raising the level of knowledge of the population when carrying out educational activities, raising the population's perception of risk, performing preventive actions, early diagnosis and reducing complications.
