Resumen
In this text I discuss the
subjective relations between teachers and
the Arts and Crafts Museum’s exposition,
in Belo Horizonte. This analysis is done
with data collected in structured
interviews with the application of
questionnaires and narrative interviews
made in contact with the MAO
exhibition. The narrative interview
walking through the MAO exhibition
was a methodological option that allowed
the teacher a situation of formative
experience in dialogue with the researcher.
The interview in progress was held in the
Museum of Arts and Crafts, individually
with each teacher, on a previously
scheduled day. For this article, I selected
Clarice’s experience. As opposed to a
product, the museum is presented as a
process, a phenomenon in constant
transformation amongst the relations it
establishes on society. This museum is
formative and the knowledge acquired at the exposition is mobilized in schools
broadening the curriculum, which creates
an original historical knowledge that is
far from being a simplification of the
academy cut on history.
