dc.description.abstractThis dissertation, theoretical and practical aims at investigating the use of popular songs in urban intervention Naquele bairro encantado, characterized by being a work of improvisation with expressive masks in a traditional area of the city of Belo Horizonte. The quest forunderstanding the songs as part of dramaturgical intervention prompted the need to understand what is the song and the lyrics and melody relationship in its structure. From the Semiótica da Canção could find the process of identification of a song and then we analyzed the speech of these songs in the process of creation and performance with the audience. The presentation space was also considered as an element of uniqueness and influential dramaturgical intervention. Revealed the strength of the song specifically this dramaturgical intervention, providing a closer relationship with the public, revealing emotions and actionsleading improvised.
