As necessidades da população como premissa para a organização da atenção em saúde bucal: uma revisão e uma proposta de ação

Oral health was effectively incorporated into the activities of the PSF in 2001 with the vision of the need to expand people's access to health promotion, rehabilitation and prevention of diseases and their complications and improve oral health indices. Therefore, the planning of such actions, should seek to overcome the limits of individual attention, through the organization of practices focused on monitoring and care, beyond the service only to spontaneous demand. The needs assessment is a tool for exploratory and qualitative knowledge of the reality of planning and decision making for effective planning of individual and collective actions of oral health, supporting the schedule for clinical care and frequency of participation in collective procedures . The objective of this study is to propose the organization of activities of the team's oral health Peri Peri ESF according to the needs of the population and ensuring comprehensive care. To this was done a literature review on the Virtual Health Library - VHL - (HTTP: / / regional.bvsalud.org / php / index.php) and publications were chosen of the databases LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean health Sciences) and SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) on the needs assessment and the planning of a health team from the year. At the end, we proposed a new program for the organization and execution of activities of ESB Peri Peri in Rio Pardo de Minas, which contains the following guidelines: Include individual attention and preventive procedures, as well as health education, as recommended by the Secretariat Health of Minas Gerais through its line-Guide Oral Health.
