We apply the Implicit Regularization Technique (IR) in a non-abelian gauge theory as well as in a local supersymmetric theory. In the first part we show that IR preserves gauge symmetry as encoded in relations between the renormalization constants required by the Slavnov-Taylor identities at the one loop level of QCD. Moreover, we show that the technique handles divergences in massive and massless QFT on equal footing. In the second part, we show that IR preserves also supersymmetry on a specific calculation: the anomalous magnetic moment of the electron in local supesymmetric QED (unbroken supergravity), at one loop level.
