This work aimed to study the profile of outer membrane proteins (OMPs) of Leptospira interrogans serovars Hardjobovis, Icterohaemorrhagiae, Pomona and Wolffi, express a sintetic gene LipL32 and test the LipL32 protein front of serum from naturally infected bovine. Techniques were used to extract the outer membrane with Triton X114 and precipitationwith acetone, cloning and subcloning of the gene LipL32, optimization of the LipL32 gene for expression in E. coli, construction of the LipL32 synthetic gene, expression and testing of the LipL32 protein in Western blot. In SDS-PAGE bands of molecular mass to 22, 29, 32, 36, 41 and 48 kDa proved to be the major components of outer membrane proteins of the four serovars tested. In the Western blot bands with molecular mass to 22, 29, 32, 41, 48, 52 and 75 kDa reacted in all the serovars tested. The LipL32 protein expression from synthetic gen was successful but did not achieve high levels of expression. Protein LipL32 was reactive in allWestern blot tests performed.
