dc.description.abstractThe following study aimed at investigating the relationship between the decision making at the organization and the worker's subjectivity, seeking to comprehend in which manner some organizational decisions may affect the involved professionals' performance. In order to achieve this objective, we utilized a questionnaire for the students in the Post-Graduation program of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), at the People Management and Business Management emphases, with questions which specified the respondent's agreement level towards the assertion, which could be a negative or positive answer to each question. From the results we obtained, we found that the decision making process is the preponderant factor which influences the professional performance and also personal life. Such factors are reinforced mainly by the decision's centralizationd and lack of autonomy. So the behaviors adopted by the organization have influence on the person's involvement not just regarding the performance of the work, but also de adopted management practices.
