dc.description.abstractThis article intends to analyze the immediate and near objectives underlying the TRIPS, verifying its adaptation and efficiency, and investigating, in last analysis if the establishment of minimum international protection's patterns of intellectual property is the way for technological innovation's fomentation and diffusion, and for the promotion of counterbalancing between the interests of producers and technology users. For so much, the context of inclusion of the intellectual property subject will be investigated in the GATT's Uruguay Round, and the standardization model adopted by TRIPS.
