| dc.description.abstract | This research has led to check the incidence of low back pain in operators of Fixed Machinery of an industry producing paper napkins. For the study were fundamental to the application of knowledge to the ergonomic work. It was used as a tool for research and data collection, direct observation, interviews, cronoanalise, autoconfrontacao, recordings, photographs. As a basis for research, the methodology applied to Ergonomic Analysis of Work (AET). This was 100 hours of analysis in the sector of production of the industry studied. The organization of work proved to be a determinant factor for the health of the operators of Fixed Machinery, since, the goal of production associated with the "incentive", lack of breaks and the pressure of time allow the adoption of strategies, however, due to the harmfulness of the work, are not sufficient to prevent the risk of diseases, such as low back pain. THE large volume of tasks to be carried out, it will not allow recovery time of paravertebral muscles, already that the workers are subjected to postures stereotyped during a long period of time (day 8 daily working hours) leading to damage on the column of these workers. They were proposed ergonomic recommendations regarding the organization of work and the introduction of breaks of recovery, as the raw material as a way for the storage of the coils of paper and on the job as the new positioning of Fixed Machinery of the type 20x20 and the acquisition of a new chair. All of these changes had the purpose to benefit the health of workers through improvements in working conditions. | |
