Resumen
After the analysis of the general overview of the recent Brazilian politics, this paper intends to formulate political propositions compatible with the democratic potencies that emerged in the 2013 June Journeys. In order to escape from the current scenario of polarization between the traditional left and the authoritarian patriotism, we first analyze the events of June, considering as a theorical framework Douglas Lummis’ concept of “radical democracy” as well as Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri’s concepts of “multitude” and “common”. Then, it was verified that horizontality and cooperation were outstanding characteristics of the June protests. From this verification and other assumptions, we designed a draft of a political project that we call “democratic confederations of the smaller Brazils”, based on the ideas of popular selfgovernment and the self-management of the economic and political activities.
