Análise estrutural-diferencial do mercado formal de trabalho em Mato Grosso do Sul

Abstract

In the last two decades have seen the occurrence of transformations on form of production that now includes modern microelectronics technology, reorganization of organizational techniques and increasingly global markets. These transformations changed the labor market at the national / regional level. In this context, the aim of this paper is to analyze the dynamics of employment by sectors of economic activity in the regions of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, in the period 1990/2010, using structuraldifferential method. The results show that the labor market in the state has a structural dimension, arising from the reorganization of production techniques, and a cyclical dimension, associated with changes in economic policy and specific components locations.
