Resumen
This work aims to study the fable genre, considering, at first, the fact of its repeated presence in the history of literature as an indication of its capacity for discursive renewal, which occurs from the potential of narrative adjustment to the demands of socio-cultural context in wich the acts of enunciation were succeeding. In order to better understand this role of the fables as an instrument of social practise, focused on the critical communication of certain world structure, we situate this study in Middle Age, under the feudalistic context. The elected corpus is Marie de France's Ysopet, an authoress of 12th century, considered to the first French poetess ever. From the very total of 103 fables from Marie de France (or 102, as some editors consider), the politic narratives were taken as main background, due to the fact of noticing in this materia the most precise incidence of discursive elements that denounce the corresponding ethos to a socio-cultural structure situated in the feudalistic context
