This paper discusses the development of a teaching sequence on the subject of vaccines using a CTS approach by students in the 3rd year of high school. We analyzed whether the objectives proposed in the activities were achieved and whether the students' interest and critical and reflective participation were favored. The results show that the sequence of activities using different resources and strategies provided classes in which students could expose their ideas and positions regarding the subject and they were interested. We consider that the set of activities developed favored the students' autonomy, the dialogue between students and teacher and the possibility of a more critical look at the reality in which they are inserted.
