Educação permanente e educação continuada no cotidiano dos profissionais de enfermagem: revisitando a literatura

In all areas of knowledge, the search for educational process accompanying
professionals and promote improvements in work environments has been a constant.
This study aims to discuss the ways of realization of continuing education and
continuing education by nursing professionals and highlight aspects that involve
discussion on the subject in this profession. To this end, a review of the literature,
with integrative search for articles on the site of the Virtual Health Library and with
the use of descriptors: continuing education, continuing education in nursing, training
of human resources in health. Were selected and analyzed seven items. In nursing,
you can realize more and more the use of Permanent Education and Continuing
Education training, in the improvement and in the qualification of professionals,
becoming the major education initiatives to the nurse and his team. The practices
identified in this study were the use of the virtual environment of learning Moodle,
forums, workshops, seminars, introductory courses and specializations, discussion
spaces, lectures, trainings, congresses and meetings The responsibility for the
continuing education process and Permanent Education has to be encouraged and
valued, but, ideally, the development of an organizational structure of shared
responsibility between the nursing staff and institution.
