It is believed that one of the ways that education found to meet the needs of the labor was design an education based on skills, organizing curricula according to the market demands and in line with the model of training for skills. Based on this assumption, and being aware that the evaluation process should be consistent with the concepts that guide the pedagogical educational institution, the ESP / EC has, throughout its existence, working towards an assessment that play a role significant in effective teaching. However, to monitor the evaluation processes applied in the Directorate of Health Professional Education (Dieps), initially as a teacher and now as coordinator technical course, what we have realized is that, although the curricula of the courses offered at the institution are based competency, assessment tools are not designed to assess the degree of development of the skills offered by the course. This realization prompted us to work an intervention proposal to develop assessment instruments able to assess the three dimensions of competence, in other words, instruments that begin with the identification of learning objectives and ends with a judgment about the extent to that these objectives have been met and that skills acquired by educating forces. In this sense, our proposed intervention aims to develop general skills assessment instruments for Technical Course in Radiology. Even aware of the importance of this process to be extended to all technical courses whose curriculum is competency-based, it was decided at that time to work, considering the curriculum Radiology Technician Course, not onlybecause this is the course that coordinate, but especially by our academic area.
