This paper studies the Ti stabilized IF steels and coating formation Galvanneal, and does the correlation of the behavior of defect formation white spots, exploring the characteristics of the chemical composition of the IF steel and white spot defect morphology in coating Galvanneal . In this work, we will investigate the white spots formation and correlate with the characteristic of the substrate, with the chemical composition of the steel and variables of the process. The proposal of this paper is to indicate possibles hypothesis of source of the problem called white spots in the IF steels Galvanneal coating. This dissertation indicates that IF steel substrates stabilized in Ti are more reactive than steel stabilized in Ti-Nb. This higher reactivity of Ti stabilized IF steel, can cause problems as imperfections in the substrate, forming explosions or formation of inhibitions. When there are problems with the metallurgical substrate or instability of the process during the production of these steels, effects may arise as capillary or segregation of chemical elements on the surface, causing deceleration of processing iron and zinc.
