The democratic management as one of the principles that should guide public education, established in the Constitution of 1988, has been strengthened through the creation of school councils. This intervention project which the main purpose is the implementation of a Management Council foreseen in the Internal Regiment of the Technical School of Health Profª. Ena de Araújo Galvão , in Mato Grosso do Sul, similar to school boards that give support to basic schools in the administrative, financial and pedagogical aspects. The formation of this structure will be composed by course coordinators, teachers, students and community members in general. This action relates to the current model of participatory management recommended by the Sistema Único de Saúde, in which power is shared and the participants are effectively active and co-responsible for decision making in the institutions. It is a pioneering initiative that contributes to the building of democratic spaces in the mid-level health schools and strengthens the transparency of activities.
