A organização e a integração entre a ESF e ESB nas atividades educativas de saúde bucal em crianças de seis a 10 anos de idade

Objective: To analyze the organization and integration between the ESF and the ESB in oral health educational activities aimed at children aged 06-10 years old. Method: Data were collection during March-April 2009. The event happened in May and June 2009 and was named the "Saturday of Health," since it was an educational and qualifying activity focused on and the oral hygiene and body. The implementation of the project consisted in conducting orientation activities for oral hygiene and followed by practice of washing hands, snack, tooth brushing and codification of the teeth. Results: The sum of codes of involvement was 39.0%. Most children in the study showed no caries, but the remainder, despite not having a degree of impairment, presents a significant portion of patients. The degree of impairment zero showed percentage of 61.0% of children examined. Conclusion: The results indicate that early diagnosis allows prompt intervention to avoid the worsening of the case and even guiding the necessity of educational work. The need to organize a flow of team approach allowed interaction, diagnosis and intervention of oral health of children.
