This TCC intends to present the installation of photovoltaic power plants in publics themselves as a practice of environmental sustainability aligned with social action for the training of labor for population in a situation of urban fragility and students of youth and adult education in the city of Belo Horizonte – MG. To this end, it carried out a survey of the sustainability actions of the Municipality of Belo Horizonte aimed at the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, relating them to the practice of installing two photovoltaic power plants in public, to a series of other ongoing projects and the deployment of these actions for the purchase of energy from solar farms by the municipality. The Usina Escola proposed by the study is the product of a broad integration of actions from various municipal secretariats, civil society organization and the legislative power as an alternative to train the homeless and sheltered population to enter the labor market in the assembly and management of plants photovoltaics.
