Construindo perfil produtivo do trabalho formal e informal e refletindo sobre as subnotificações dos acidentes de trabalho no município de Ibirité

Abstract

An accident at work is the sudden event occurred in the exercise of professional activity, regardless of employment status and welfare of the injured worker, and that leads to health damage, potential or immediate, causing injury or functional disorder that causes death directly or indirectly, loss or impairment, whether permanent or temporary capacity for work. Workplace accidents have significant morbidity constituting a major public health problem. The aim of this study was to describe the production of formal and informal work in the municipality of Ibirité-MG to reflect well on the underreporting of accidents in this city and suggest strategies for qualitative and quantitative improvement of notification of such accidents. For this study, we used the database Bireme, Lilacs, SciELO and Health Information Systems, and Information System for Notifiable Diseases (SINAN) and Information System for Primary Care (SIAB), to obtain data on the municipality under study. The results showed that in the city of Ibirité, lack of knowledge about formal and informal production profile and underreporting of workplace accidents are problems that affect the planning and development of health worker in the SUS. With the knowledge gained in this study, we propose actions to mobilize health professionals responsible for notifying accidents at work in the city, emphasizing on the importance of reporting through training, awareness of explanatory booklets and administration of the reporting units so they can charge notification these professionals notifiers.
