Resumen
This study aimed to identify the actions of the nutritionist in the humanization of hospital assistance. It was used as a methodological strategy an integrative review of literature, with research in electronic database LILACS, SciELO virtual library, CAPES periodicals andDEMETRA electronic periodical: food, nutrition and health, through the controlled descriptors: nutritionist, humanization, hospital assistance, humanization of hospital assistance. Population obtained was from 46 articles present in four bases, which, after being submitted to selection criteria, resulted in the final sample of 4 (100%) articles, being 2 (50%)on LILACS database, 1 (25%) on SCIELO and 1 (25%) on electronic periodical DEMETRA (Food, Nutrition and Health). As a result, it was observed that most of the articles were written by doctors, 10 (52.9%), nutritionists, 16 (88.8%), with female predominance, 16 (94.2%). The 4 studies show the actions of the nutritionists in hospital context directed toalimentary and physical-nutritional care of the patient. It was concluded that the nutritionist faces major challenges, such as the interaction between clinical dietitian and nutritionist responsible for the production of meals, communication with the multidisciplinary team, and commitment for better working conditions. More studies are needed regarding the actions of the nutritionist in the humanized assistance in the hospital context, since they are still very scarce.
