Resumen
This study discusses the relations
between decolonialism and critical cartography. We start from
the consideration that the map
is not a neutral support to represent space, translating power relations. Given this assumption, we
ask the following question: how
could the representation of space
through maps criticize the logic of
coloniality/modernity and reveal
narratives that are subjugated by
colonialism? We propose that the
resistance to the discourse of coloniality could be explored in the
indigenous counter-mapping practices.
