Resumen
A methodology for the evaluation of the condition of urban streams is proposed. The methodology
integrates field data, historical information and technical analysis; it could be applied to the hydraulic component
of the physical subsystem to comply with the ordering plans for watersheds. Pointers to measure the
condition of the streams and the watershed are defined, the connection between portions of the streams
with different hydraulic capacity conditions is analyzed and a multicriteria analysis is developed. This analysis compiles all the information gathered and identifies the most critical points of the hydraulic network based
on three basic criteria: field evaluation, flooding records, and hydraulic capacity.
