Resumen
The article covers the brief history of management, in order to show the loss of its primitive nature
and transformation to current date, for production consumption usage and accumulation in the
face of an environmental crisis and consequent effects on the planet. It provokes a reflection on
the role to be played by human beings and nature in management thinking, to conclude that
teaching a trans-disciplinarian ethos can open the way for integrated management, as it allows
not only a constructive debate of disciplines but also, the recognition of the importance of various
skills to solve complex problems. This will ensure dialogue over debate; dialogue aims to find a
solution whereas debate is the justification of power.
