Estudio de vulnerabilidad sísmica para la vivienda Cra. 24D 40Sur # 140- 106 del barrio El Cristo

Abstract

Debido al gran riesgo que se presenta a la posibilidad de ocurrencia de un sismo, y debido a la vulnerabilidad que presentan las viviendas de las personas de clases sociales menos favorecidas por falta de asesoría en el momento de construirlas, la Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia, ha estado realizando estudios que ayuden a mejorar las viviendas de este tipo en colaboración con otras entidades, como parte de su compromiso social. Es objetivo de este trabajo, presentar entonces un documento que sirva como base para realizar las modificaciones necesarias a la vivienda analizada, con el fin de disminuir su vulnerabilidad, mejorando así su respuesta ante solicitaciones de diferentes tipos. En este informe se presenta el estudio de vulnerabilidad sísmica de una casa de dos niveles, construida mediante el sistema estructural de mampostería no reforzada no confinada. A la estructura se le realizó satisfactoriamente el estudio, análisis y posteriormente las propuestas necesarias para el mejoramiento de la infraestructura física, generando un ambiente mas confiable y seguro para sus habitantes.

ABSTRACT: Dew to the great risk involved in the occurrence of an earth quake, and to the vulnerability of the homes in the lower social classes because of the lack of assistance in the moment of construction, the ESCUELA DE INGENIERÍA DE ANTIOQUIA, has been carring out studies in order to improve the structural conditions of these types of homes. This work is done in conyunction with other entities as part of their social commitment. The purpose of this job is to develop a document that can be used as a basis to carry out the necessary changes in the home being studied, in order to reduce its vulnerability and to improve its response to diferent types of solicitations. In this paper is a study of the seismic vulnerability of a two leve¡ home, constructed in a non reeiriforced, non confined mamposteria system. The propper study and analysis of the home was' carried out successfufly and a series of the necessary changes needed to improve the physical conditions of the structure were then suggested, this in order to create a safer and more relyable environment for the inhabitants of the home.
