Apuntes teóricos sobre la relación entre conocimiento colectivo e instituciones

Abstract

Este artículo examina el papel del conocimiento común en la formación de equilibrios estables y establece las bases teóricas para analizar su constitución y evolución. Retoma aportes de Elinor Ostrom y los complementa con las contribuciones de algunos autores institucionalistas. Intenta responder las siguientes preguntas: ¿qué importancia tiene el conocimiento común en la formación de arreglos institucionales estables?; ¿cómo se genera conocimiento común entre individuos de capacidad cognitiva diferente?, ¿qué mecanismos institucionales permiten el surgimiento y el mantenimiento de conocimiento común?

This paper discusses the role of common knowledge in the formation of stable institutional equilibria and establishes the theoretical bases to analyze its formation and evolution. It takes contributions from Ostrom Elinor and complements them with contributions from institutionalist authors. The questions that I will attempt to answer are the following: what is the importance of common knowledge in shaping stable institutional arrangements? How is common knowledge generated among individuals with different cognitive capacities What institutional mechanisms allow the emergence and maintenance of common knowledge?
