Maltrato en adultos mayores asistentes al centro día galilea de la ciudad de Armenia (Quindío)

Abstract

Objetivo general: Identificar el maltrato que se presenta en un grupo de adultos mayores asistentes al Centro Día Galilea de la ciudad de Armenia (Quindío) con el fin de conocer y tener más información real acerca de esta problemática en la ciudad. Metodología: El enfoque que se utilizara para esta investigación es cuantitativa, su tipo es descriptivo. Resultados: El 32% de las personas mayores manifestó haber recibido algún maltrato físico en sus hogares.

Objective: Identify the abuse that occurs in a group of elderly people attending the Galilea Day Center of the city of Armenia (Quindío) in order to know and have more real information about this problem in the city. Methodology: The approach used for this research is quantitative, its type is descriptive and these seek to specify the properties, characteristics and profiles of people, groups, communities, processes, objects or any other phenomenon that is subject to an analysis. Results: 32% of the elderly reported having received some physical abuse in their homes.
