Logística inversa en el manejo de residuos provenientes del proceso de saponificación en empresas productoras de jabones en barra

Resumen
Este artículo propone la optimización del tratamiento de aguas glicerinosas y disminución de lodos en un proceso de producción de jabones en barra. Se estudiaron las etapas del proceso de fabricación de jabón y los puntos de generación de aguas residuales, se diseñaron experimentos a nivel de laboratorio realizando análisis en los que se determinó tipo de coagulante a utilizar, eficiencia de la filtración, variabilidad entre otras, usando los residuos generados durante el proceso de saponificación, buscando disminuir el impacto ambiental y reducir la generación de lodos durante la producción. Con los resultados obtenidos a través de los ensayos realizados en laboratorio se hizo selección del sulfato de aluminio como coagulante el cual precipita con mayor rapidez las impurezas, disminuye la presencia de solidos suspendidos y mejora el color del agua, considerando las condiciones de almacenamiento, transporte y facilidad de manipulación se presenta como una ventaja sobre el otro coagulante en prueba el cloruro férrico por ser una sustancia menos peligrosa. Así mismo dentro de los ensayos realizados se dio mayor credibilidad y viabilidad técnica al proceso de filtración como tratamiento primario de estas aguas. A su vez se hicieron las recomendaciones correspondientes al área de producción para los ensayos e implementación en el proceso de producción.
