Resumen
Al hablar de diseño de gestión de control se hace alusión a la reducción de consecuencias y probabilidades de riesgos que se puedan presentar.
El control de riesgos financieros parte de la base de que en toda actividad existe un riesgo, pero dicho riesgo puede ser manejado. El control de riesgo no se limita exclusivamente a evaluar las partidas que componen los estados financieros de una empresa, se trata de un instrumento de poder predictivo de hechos económicos en el futuro.
Es así como la gestión de control implica determinar el beneficio de nuevos controles y validar la efectividad de los controles existentes. Pudiendo los controles involucrar cambios físicos, políticas de efectividad o procedimientos.
En este orden de ideas, la junta directiva de la organización junto con su representante legal representan un papel importante en la ejecución de los mecanismos de control, en donde son ellos los directos responsables del correcto funcionamiento supervisión y seguimiento de la ejecución de normativas con el propósito de garantizar las buenas practicas impartidas por la administración de control de riesgo.
Es decir, el control es un instrumento, que ayuda a la empresa a verificar que todos sus procedimientos se realicen de acuerdo a lo programado, para todos los factores internos y externos de la actividad económico-financiera integrando las variables estratégicas y operacionales para la correcta toma de decisiones del presente y del futuro.
