La subasta inversa es una modalidad de contratación pública, ágil, segura y transparente que permite a las entidades estatales facilitar la adquisición de bienes y/o servicios con una mayor cobertura de oferentes y mejores precios. Por lo tanto se busca mostrar el crecimiento que ha tenido esta modalidad en la región de Suramérica en los países de Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay y Perú.
