Propuesta para optimizar los resultados de la encuesta sobre percepción de la humanización del servicio por parte de los pacientes en atención básica en salud: estudio de caso

En el área de la atención en salud cada vez es más importante incrementar la calidad en el servicio, y la satisfacción del paciente es de fundamental importancia como una medida de la calidad de la atención. Se planteó para este trabajo generar una propuesta para optimizar los resultados de la encuesta sobre percepción de la humanización del servicio por parte de los pacientes en atención básica en una Institución prestadora de Servicios de Salud de la república de Colombia. Se realizó trabajo investigativo de tipo mixto de alcance explicativo, tomando como fuente de información la revisión documental y la entrevista. Como elementos claves de la investigación se identificó que múltiples estudios han demostrado que las encuestas de satisfacción del usuario generalmente muestran alta satisfacción y poca variabilidad, lo que dificulta su uso en términos de gestión. Además de esto, se encontró que el estudio de la satisfacción y el entendimiento de sus causas es complejo, multifactorial y dinámico y que se encuentra estrechamente relacionado a aspectos subjetivos y objetivos, lo que requiere la unión de los métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos de medición para su mejor abordaje y estudio. Se propone entonces el diseño y aplicación de una encuesta que cuente con preguntas de selección múltiple pero también otras de respuesta abierta y que abarquen la mayoría de elementos que intervienen en la atención como comodidad, trato, cordialidad, empatía, nivel de información, privacidad, resolución del problema, acceso a medicamentos, costos, entre otros.
