Resumen
El síndrome urinario obstructivo bajo (SUOB) es una patología de alta prevalencia en los hombres que puede llegar a presentar afectación de la calidad de vida. Para su valoración existe el Índice Internacional de Síntomas Prostáticos (IPSS) el cual consta de 7 variables que permiten establecer una escala leve, moderada o severa. El IPSS está diseñado para ser respondido por el paciente, sin embargo, puede llegar a ser dispendiosa en ocasiones por falta de entendimiento por algunos pacientes y esto genera una demora en la consulta así como una estadificación errónea. Nuestro objetivo es realizar y evaluar la concordancia de una escala visual análoga de forma prospectiva a pacientes con síndrome urinario obstructivo bajo del Hospital Militar Central, con respecto al índice IPSS. Adicionalmente se evaluará sus resultados con relación a la uroflujometría
