Este trabajo tiene como finalidad analizar la existencia de un nicho de mercado y determinar la viabilidad técnica, organizacional y financiera implementación del sistema de ganadería intensiva en el municipio de Saravena, Arauca. Este sistema tiene como objetivo proporcionar una mayor rentabilidad productiva al disponer de menor tiempo para la ganancia de peso por cabeza de ganado que pasará de 0 – 0.5 kilogramos al día a 0.9 - 1,5 kilogramos por día (contexto ganadero, 2015); aprovechar al máximo el terreno pues la carga promedio es de 50 animales por hectárea (10.000 mt²). Todo lo anterior permite también mejorar las condiciones ambientales del territorio donde se desarrollará dichas actividades y aumentar la productividad de la región.
Además, en este estudio se establece los recursos financieros, materiales, de talento humano, de infraestructura necesarios para que llevar a cabo el engorde confinado de 80 animales en un terreno de cinco hectáreas, en el que se tiene cultivos de pasto y leguminosa que proporcionan el valor nutricional requerido por los animales. The purpose of this work is to analyze the existence of a market niche and determine the technical, organizational and financial viability of the intensive livestock system in the municipality of Saravena, Arauca. This system aims to provide greater productive profitability by having less time for weight gain per head of cattle that will go from 0 - 0.5 kilograms per day to 0.9 - 1.5 kilograms per day (livestock context, 2015); make the most of the land because the average load is 50 animals per hectare (10,000 mt²). All of the above also allows improving the environmental conditions of the territory where said activities will be developed and increasing the productivity of the region.
In addition, this study establishes the financial, material, human talent, and infrastructure resources needed to carry out the confined fattening of 80 animals in a five hectare plot, where there are pasture and legume crops that provide the nutritional value required by the animals.
