A solar trunk is a set of works, equipment and materials to carry out the processes that facilitate us to comply with the quality standards in internet signal through a system radio link. These trunks consist of an internal system with the capacity to provide a
real effectiveness at the time of providing service, taking into account that in these systems it is applied a set of devices such as: a MPPT solar controller, power sources of different voltages (12V and 24V), Poe, router, Ubiquiti Power Bean antennas, lithium batteries, a solar panel(s), LAN ETHERNET RJ45, iron or fiber pole, inverter, a network is specified wireless to check the status of trunk equipment. The trunks have power in range from emitter to receiver maximum 16 km in a straight line, the solar power
produced in peak solar radiation of 740W, with battery autonomy of 14 to 16 hours.
These types of trunks are designed in order to provide internet to retired homes of cities or towns, keeping in mind that all devices are important to the time to implement in the backbone infrastructure. When generating the implementation of this project is generated for the company TEKCOM of Miraflores, the four solar backbones necessary to be able to deliver internet services in the different villages and neighborhoods in the municipality of Miraflores.
