The option of internship or professional practice, to opt for the degree of Environmental Engineer gathers all the academic and learning results within the university, in order to seek competencies and elements that provide a humanistic ethical-professional value. The execution in the development of the professional practice corresponds to the knowledge linked to the theory and practice in the familiarization of the work area, starting from the individual and own experience. This document aims to demonstrate the importance of the professional practice and what was done in the period of time required by the institution of higher education, for this case the overall objective of the final report of internship is to accompany technically in the implementation and visualization of consolidated projects in the area of drinking water and basic sanitation, in order to link the geographic information systems and hydrological and hydraulic modeling software. In this process, it was taken into account the realization of hydrological studies, downloading and processing of information from hydrometeorological stations of specific areas and the definition of variables, as results were obtained the conditions of each study and hydrological and hydraulic analysis, where they go hand in hand with the implementation of software and tools, such as Gis Extensions, ArcGIS, HEC RAS, HEC HMS and Qal2k water quality models, this information is accompanied by modeling and environmental simulation in order to achieve a better understanding of reality.
